Back to Gila Bend-Holt's Shell RV Park

After we parked our coaches, we all started our laundry, cleaned our rigs and just sat around the place. The evening came and decided to go into town which is about 3 miles from the RV park.
This is the Space Age Lodge. It looks really neat at night. Here are some pictures of it....

We saw a bunch of night riders at the Love's. This girlie has a really nice Harley!

We had dinner at Sofia's Mexcan Food which a friend of Chuck's recommended.
The Girls table....
The Boys table.....yes, they gave the waitress a hard time! She enjoyed the guys.
Found some Boganvillias here at the park. They are blooming beautifully!

Today we drove about 2 hours from Yuma to Gila Bend, where we had stayed before. This is a very nice park with full hookups. I was so ready to have power and water, so I really welcomed the stay here.

This is The Esparza Rig.....Yes, the mop is there because I had just finished cleaning the coach....it was very dusty from boondocking in the desert. It sure was fun though.
As I did our laundry.....Linda walked in and I was really surprised to see her. She and Bob drove in from Quartzsite today. This is their rig.
This is the North's rig. The sun was too bright and the picture is not very good but here it is...
North's rig....
The Didelot's Rig....it is so nice and clean!

The Three Amigos sitting between The King's Rig and The Esparza's Rig....
Gila Bend - Holt's Shell RV Park.....nice place to stay while in the desert.
This is a big dairy farm enroute to Gila Bend.
Chuck and Lorraine were in Yuma yesterday and after visiting with them (they came to where we were staying at the casino), they decided they would join our caravan. It was fun communicating with everyone via CB radio. You will find pictures enroute to Gila Bend below.
This is Chuck & Lorraine's Coach.
Another shot of Chuck and Lorraine's coach.
We were taking pictures as Chuck passed us. Lorraine is taking pictures of our rigs as they pass. You can see Lorraine as I was taking a picture of them, too.
Lorraine took this picture. Thank you, Lorraine. I borrowed this from your blog!
Another train enroute...
This kind of looks like a chopper....It has a really pretty paint job, doesn't it?
Sue wanted fresh picked dates from Dateland, AZ, so we stopped to get some.
This was a wierd looking cactus.
Lorraine walks to the gift shop and to check out the dates....here are the four rigs....
Sue rushes ahead of everyone to get dates!
My Chaufer! He is a good driver and I do not want any comments from you guys!
Just scenery.....beautiful mountains-beautiful day to travel.
These bikers try to catch up with Richard!
This was more like Death Valley instead of Dome Valley. It was like a roller coaster....
More of Dome Valley.....sharp curves and all downhill! Oh, What a Ride!!
Steep!
Foothills of Yuma, AZ.
