Bisbee and Tucson, AZ

We visited Trader Joe's to end the night. We all purchased groceries before heading out to quartzsite. They recommended a few things to try and they had a lot of organic stuff so we loaded up. We said our good-byes to David and Kathy Peters. I was very surprised to see them here. Mark made contact with them and made plans to surprise us. We had a very nice visit with them.
We all had dinner at OutBack Steakhouse and then we all headed out to Trader Joe's. We all had a great evening.
We visited Dave and Kathy Peters at the Prince of Tucson RV Park. Of course, Dave made the ladies his specialty drink....the old-fashioned. They were good.
Kathy and Tiger pose as Dave prepares drinks.
Dave and Kathy Peters from California. It sure was nice to see them again. Hope to see them on the road some place again!
Leaving Bisbee. Beautiful city on a mountain. This city was founded in the 1880s. It was a copper mining city.

We drove up a hill to see the town. This is the street Richard and Patsy turned into last year with their motorhome and had to drive it back down in reverse..... it is very steep.

Downtown Historic District.

We walked the down-town area. It has many shops, museums, cafes.....

This town has very narrow streets and very picturesque.

This is a hotel and bed & breakfast.

The tunnel that is on the way to Tucson.
We went by the Shady Dell RV Park which had some really old Airstreams. They rent these. They also had Dot's Diner on the park. Many old old rvs.
Dot's Diner......

We also visited the Old Copper Queen Mine. This rock mountain across the street from it has rust covering it. This is from the copper mine.

This is a monument commemorating the mine workers.
This was a huge hole. Hard to imagine all the work that put into this mine.

There was a puddle of copper looking liquid at the bottom of this hole.

Hillside homes and businesses.
