On The Road Again.....

We had dinner at Mimi's Cafe in Yuma, AZ. Richard and Patsy introduced us to this restaurant chain while we were in Little Rock, Arkansas. We enjoyed our meal and the company. Below are some of the dinner plates we ordered.
Salmon salad...
Liver and onions, mashed potatoes, and veggies....
Salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus...
Meatloaf, mashed potatoes w/gravy and veggies.....
Quiche, salad and fruit.....
The Esparzas, The Kings and The Didelots.
We did a little touring of the city after we parked our RVs at the Paradise Casino grounds. This is the St. Thomas Indian Church.
Our three RVs are the dark colored ones.....
This is a very old motel, The Motel San Carlos in downtown Yuma.

The Didelots heading towards the Casino.
The Kings heading towards the Casino. Maybe they will take our picture one of these days!!!
Duel bridge over the Colorado River. Neat looking....
Nice art work on these towers as you come into Yuma, AZ.

So much change in just about an hour out of Quartzsite. We are nearing the California stateline and you can see more greenery and palm trees.
We stop along the way at a produce stand. We bought several items grown in the area.
Strawberries, oranges, grapefruit, onions & avacados.......yes, I got it all! haha
Manuel checks out the oranges.
I saw this tiny church at the edge of the mountains.....so neat looking.
Manuel and I remembered the days when we worked the fields.....desayhe is what we called it. We would go to West Texas, in the Petersburg/Lorenzo area to spend the summers with my Grandpa Trevino and at the same time earned some money to buy clothing for school. I really hated this!
They work the cabbage fields.
This heavy military artillary equipment was also seen along the way! Like my cropping??!!
More equipment among the cars and trucks....
Mountains are beautiful....
Boondockers along the way.
Manuel at the wheel....and I am taking pictures all along the way.
Just scenery.
Beautiful skyline as we leave the mountains of Quartzsite.
On the Road Again......
We are dumping as we leave Q. Thanks for the picture, Mark.
We wait in live at the dump site.
And we wait......
We leave the desert.....dusty! Yes, it was very dusty in the desert but we had a great time!
Richard, Manuel and Mark maneuver out of the desert to make our way to the highway.
Mark and his Z....Phaeton!
Manuel drives off! So long everyone!
Richard, The Big Dog, leads the way.
