Visiting with Family Before Leaving on Our Winter Vacation

We parked for the night after a 3-4 hour drive. We headed out early this morning toward El Paso and then Las Cruces, New Mexico.
We had dinner at K-Bob's at Fort Stockton. Had a great evening with Mark, Sue, Richard and Patsy. Thank you Richard, for this picture.

We followed Richard and Patsy; Mark and Sue were right behind us. We use walkie talkies to communicate along the way.
There are a lot of energy producing windmills along the way to El Paso.
We have had really clear skies as we drive. It was pretty chilly this morning.
We met Mark and Sue in Junction and stopped about 60 miles out just to greet each other. They had camped in Junction over-night.
We met Richard and Patsy at the Bass Pro Shop on IH 10. They live in Victoria, TX. We are to also meet Mark and Sue in Junction. They live wherever their travels take them. They are full-timers from Lake Charles, LA.
Richard is passing Mark as we met up with them in Junction. We are right behind Richard.
We went by to see my Mother on Wednesday. We visited with her for a while, along with Uncle Jacob and Aunt Mary, both from Fort Worth. They are here for a few days visit with mom. Mom is not in the picture because she was not feeling real good so she is napping. We enjoyed our visit with Tio and Tia.

We also visited with Charlie, our Yorkie and Corina, our daughter, whom I did not take a picture of. Corina has been watching Charlie for us.

We also visited with our Granddaughters, Larissa and Arianna. We played CandyLand and just played other games with them. We had a great time with them and will miss them a lot.

We took them to Baskin Robbins for a treat. They enjoyed their ice cream!
