We are both retired and enjoy traveling. We set up this blog to let our family and friends know what we are up to as we travel the highways of the USA.

Tour of Organ Pipe Cactus Nat Park
We took a driving tour by Richard whom had visited this park before. It is a 20 mile tour which is awesome. There are many different kinds of cacti. In the forefront is what I think is the brittlebush. It looks like it is lit when the sun shines right on it. This one is the saguaro....
more saguaros.....
This is the organ pipe....note the opening in the rock mountains. This tour was in the Ajo Mountain Range.
We stopped at one of the picnic areas.....
The organ pipe cactus is so beautiful.
The saguaro is so tall......
This is a memorial to Kris Eggle, a 28 year old Park Ranger, killed when he confronted illegal aliens.
We all take a picture in front of the Visitor's Center.
