Last Day at The Rally

We fixed a continental breakfast and left overs.   Everyone enjoyed the food.

Every one takes a little of the food that is left over.   That make it easier for Patsy and me.

We clean up the kitchen.....

and we sweep the floor....

We hit the road at about noon.   It was a nice drive.

We had a beautiful day to travel today.

Right before we got to LaVernia....we spotted these monkey art so we stopped to check them out.

 

They have a bunch of them hanging on trees....all sizes.   

We could not pass them up so we bought a mama and a baby.....they are so cute!

The Harley's are out on this beautiful day.   We saw a bunch of them on the road.....

Downtown traffic was not bad at all this afternoon.  We are almost home...and we really hate to get home!

Saturday at The Rally

Saturday morning we woke up to a cool morning.   A cool front came in last night.    

The Lazy Longhorn RV Park is a really nice park. 

We head out to the clubhouse to start breakfast.

We served sausage and....

pancakes...coffee & juice.....  Jack made biscuits and gravy....

We had a very nice breakfast and enjoyed everyone's company.

Mark attempts to set up equipment for the presentation after our monthly meeting.

He sets up a white sheet as the screen.....

The RV Park owner, in the orange shirt, comes in to make sure everything is going smooth.   He sees the sheet and says "there is a pull down screen just above the window"....everyone had a good laugh....dahhhhh!

Mark proceeds with the website he has helped to bring about.....He did a great job.

Everyone shows interest.

We start to clean the kitchen and made preparations for the evening meal.  

We played cards and had a lot of fun.....

Patsy and I get our thoughts together.  We will have fajitas, rice, beans, salad, cheese, guacamole, tortillas chips and picante sauce.   We will have cake and ice cream for desert.   Everyone enjoyed the meal.....

I took a break and went out to take a few pictures of the flowers at the park....yellow hibiscus.

Dinner is served and everyone digs in.....

 

After dinner, we all pitch in and clean up then we sit and play cards.....Great Fun!

Tomorrow morning we will serve continental breakfast.....pastries, biscuits and left overs.....then we will all head home....
