We spend the day at the beach and fishing yesterday. We were so tired at the end of the day that we just ate dinner and watched TV. We had a great day and the girls sure enjoyed playing in the sand.
We start the day at a slow pace but as the day progressed, we were busy busy!
We got our caps, sun glasses and fishing rods, so we are good to go.
Rockport Beach Park is a really nice City Park.
The sky was overcast most of the day. We had moments of sun so it made it nice. It is windy, though.
We find a gazebo to set our things.
Manuel heads out to the sandy beach for some fun with the girls.
They played……… and they played!
There are quite a few people, but not like we had expected for spring break. The area schools are not on break so that made it nice.
They dug and dug……… and dug some more!
This building has the restrooms and showers and they also hold special events here.
I just don’t get tired of taking pictures of Larissa and Arianna.
Arianna finally got tired and wants to take a nap……
That did not last two minutes…..she headed back out with grandpa.
There are a bunch of kites flying in the area.
We watched tour boats go by……
and shrimpers….
and sail boats……
and even jet skis.
We watched the pelicans…..
and the seagulls…..
We all had an awesome day in Rockport. A cold front is expected tonight.
We finally take a break for some lunch. This is a nice place to pic-nic.
More to come…….
