Sunday at Red Bay, AL

Today was an easy going day for all of us.   We just visited until late morning and then the guys decided to start a project.  We went into Russellville to buy some of the supplies needed and then the guys got to work.  They are installing a 50 amp plug so that the Search Protector can be plugged inside the bay on Our Coach.  Manuel is removing the 50 amp wiring.   George is watching.

Looks like George is thinking, "Does he really know what to do?"

Mark is now involved and helping...George is still not too sure they know what they are doing.

Okay...Red, Green, Black and White wire....we are set!

Green, Red, Black, White wires......now what?!!

Now they are ready to mount it on the wall......Manuel and George are really involved.

Final touches before they plug it in!  The Supervisor, Mark checks things out & gives final approval.

Then they go over to George's Rig....Now they are pros....same process!  Same technique!

Tomorrow, we hope to be called back in to the bay for work on our coach.   Hope the part they are expecting has come in.   We will see if they call us at 7 am.....until next time!

Florence, AL

We made plans to make a trip to Florence, which is 45 miles from Red Bay.  We left at noon and it was about 40 degrees, pretty cool.  George drove us today.

We arrived at the University of North Alabama....

This pair of lions are twins; male's name is Leo III and the female's name is UNA.

They are so beautiful....

Even though it is pretty cool, they are sunbathing.  It is a beautiful, sunny day.

We then went around the block and they have these gorgeous homes....

After all that, we are ready for some lunch...Rosie's Cantina is the chosen place.  George and Nancy Silva pose for me...

I join them in the picture as Manuel takes the photo.  We were here last year and the food is very good here. 

We came at a busy time but were sat immediately.

Catching up on email and blogging..

Our Friends, Mark & Sue Didelot just arrived at Camp Red Bay at about 6 pm! It is so good to see them!  They are parked right next to us. 

We invited them and the Silvas to a light dinner.

Then we played a game of "Cajun Pass The Love" card game.

We had a very day day and evening.   We will see what tomorrow brings.....

Tour of Tiffin Paint Shop

Today, Friday afternoon, we decided to go out for a drive in the area.   We then headed out to the Tiffin Paint Shop in Belmont.  We got our safety glasses, ear plugs and a map of the plant for our self guided tour.

The rain test....sprinklers from every direction to make sure there are no leaks.  The coach is sprayed consistently for 45 minutes.

Back at the guard house....George returns the safety glasses.

We made a stop at several places on the way back to the coach....home decor stuff here. The door is nicely decorated with spring colored ribbons and flowers.

We had dinner at the Silva's then just visited.   We had a great day!
