San Jose Mission Tour

It rained all of last night and it was still raining this morning.   We went ahead with our plans to go tour at least one of the San Antonio missions.   We elected the San Jose Mission because it is the biggest of the five missions.

We had a wonderful time today.  Even though it was cold, wet and windy, we made the best of it.

We went home and just visited for a while and then we went out to a late dinner.

We had a great evening.   On the way home, there was an accident on the freeway and we were at a standstill for about an hour.   Finally they instructed everyone to make a U turn on the freeway and go back to the access road.   Sandy heard in the early morning news that it was an overturned 18 wheeler....it was spread across four lanes....there was no place to go.   We got home safe and sound....
