I have not had any internet connections in two days....until we got to Red Bay where I could connect to their WiFi. Now I will have a couple of days to post. We are having a nice time since we got to Red Bay yesterday. Met up with some Houston friends, Joe & Jan Dabney whom we met at the Lone Star Allegro Club and another couple from Iowa (California originally). They are George and Nancy Silva. Very nice people.
Tuesday, we just rested all day; I just stayed in my pajamas until 6 pm then got ready to go gamble a little. It was a beautiful sunny but cool day. I felt like I needed the rest.
Wednesday morning, we left Coushatta Casino RV Park at about 9:30 am. Our plan was to drive to Jackson/Pearl, MS. to the Flying J. So here we are boon docking. Not to much to take pictures of on the way but here are a few pictures.
More of the RV Park and Chalets at Coushatta.
Our drive on 165.
This guy seems to be practicing to crop dust...
I took a picture of most churches we passed along the way....
The American and POW flags fly freely.... This light pole is perfectly aligned with the tree trunk.
Coming up to the Mighty Mississippi River Bridge...
Beautiful bridge!
The Mississippi River.
Too much glare but we are now in Mississippi.
A nice old home....
We drive the Natchez Trace Parkway....
Hardly any traffic....we did not see more than 10 cars thru here....
We passed one cyclist...
2 motorcyclists... Enjoy the nice, quiet drive. Speed Limit here is 50.
Cotton field....this has to be from last summer!
Nice old bridges/overpasses.
Tomorrow, we will probably drive into Red Bay, AL & hope to get a spot. We will see.
