We have been in Red Bay for one week now. We have had several things done to our coach. The Allegro Campground is owned by Bob Tiffin who manufactures Tiffin Motor homes. The park gets pretty full at times and at times like today, Friday, almost everyone is gone so here are a few pictures of the park being full and empty.
Our Friends, Joe and Jan left today. We will meet up with them at the TRVN April Rally in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The park is pretty empty....
Pictures are taken thru the window.....it is still cold to go out. It is sunny, though.
These pictures were taken during the week while we were in Bay 1....
The nice thing about it is that they let you stay in your home while they work or you can do as Manuel is doing, hanging around the techs to see what they are doing.
We had Justin and Daniel in Bay 1. Really nice, hard working guys.
While they worked, we went out to breakfast with Nancy & George Silva. This couple is from Idaho now but lived in California before they retired. The guy in the USMC sweatshirt was at the restaurant and an RVer so he just ate with us and just chatted with us.
We set the timer and the USMC guy decided to hide behind Manuel! Wonder why?!
Nancy and I shopped in the restaurant while food was being prepared.
Katy Kakes is a good place to eat...
This is the owner....she shows us some of her catering events pictures. Manuel share about Veronica's catering with her.
After we drive our coach back to our spot, which is in the same property as the service center. We visited for a while then we played cards or dominos.
Nancy and George Silva are a very nice couple.
Manuel makes plans to see what we will do after we get done here.
We play some Cajun Train.....what fun!
Jan and Joe Dabney join us for games.
Bright and early (7 am) we are back and ready to get into bay 39. This is way too early for me, especially when it is so cold out (low 30's).
They get ready to replace the two front jacks....
Some of the guys are having a safety class...
Another evening, we got together for dinner....
Again up bright and early for more testing .....they are checking for air leaks.
On Thursday, after they were done with us here at the Service Center, we drove to Bay Diesel for an oil change. We got together with the Dabneys and the Silvas for dinner last night. Jan and Joe left early this morning. They are heading south to Florida, I think. I slept late today for the first time all week! I was tired. So this was our week here at Red Bay, Alabama. We have more things to be done next week. Until then.
We are waiting for Mark & Sue Didelot, Chuck & Lorraine North and Bob & JoAnn Srutka by Sunday and Monday.
