We woke up by 8:30 this morning and had our breakfast. Then it is play, play, and play some more! We play with the Princess cash register....Arianna is in a shopping mood and buys a lot of stuff from Lari.
It is cool outside but the sun is shining and it looks like a gorgeous day so we will do stuff outdoors. The girls are all for it so we get dressed to go out....
The C-5 airplanes fly over constantly. Jets, too.
The girls want to have a picnic so we pack our lunch and go for a drive. We drive thru the outdoor Airplane museum. I have posted these planes before so I only took a few of the plane photos.
I love the BlackBird SR 71. This was the experimental plane for the space shuttle. It flew across the US in 45 minutes.....from what I remember. I did not go read its history but remember this from the last time....
We decide to have lunch on the bleachers where they host the airmen graduations. This is in the center of all the planes. It is a little cool out but the girls are enjoying our outing and so are we.

We enjoy our lunch, then the fruit and a snack....
I set the timer and we all pose for a picture.
Such Happy Little Girls. It is so easy to make them happy!
I allow them to climb the bleachers....I am right behind them. They are both very careful!
We have reached the very top!
After taking a short break, we are ready to go down and then up again!

Then it is off to the Lackland Elementary playground....
We found us a good hop-scotch place to play.
Lari and I played and played.... While Grandpa entertains Arianna on the slide...
Before going to the coach, we stop at the Shopette for some ice cream. Lari poses with the Miller Light Beer Representative. Arianna did not want to take a picture with a stranger....
Then I found some guys for them to take a picture with and Arianna was all for it!!

Back at the coach, we eat our Drumstick ice cream....Lari's choice of ice cream today.
The tailgate ice cream party!!
They are happy as can be.
As we sit out, we also view all the planes going by.

These are unbelievable pictures. They certainly ARE happy little girls. But so is grandma!!!
