Saturday was an easy going day here at Red Bay. Manuel rides his scooter around the park. I try to get internet to and work and finally got my Sprint card to work.
We joined the group in the office. These guys and one gal are having a guitar, violin jam session. They sounded really good. The sang some country & gospel songs.
We head back to the coach. The park emptied out yesterday afternoon and more came in last night.
Nancy and I sat outside and just visited. Jan was not feeling well today. Manuel, Joe, and George visited too. We then decided to go into Belmont, MS which is about 10 miles away to have dinner at the Belmont Cafe. Food was very good.
We got back from dinner and played several games. We started with the card game "Pass The Love", then we played Wild Fire Dominos, whom Nancy and George showed us to play.... We had a great time!
Sunday Morning we just took it easy again. I slept late again. We ate a light breakfast then got ready to go out for a ride. We drove towards Belmont, Mississippi. The Mississippi Stateline is about a mile from the park.
A nice horse farm....
Beautiful horses!
The Belmont Hotel. Belmont is a very small town....
Downtown area...
The Downtown Square....Belmont Cafe is straight ahead on the left.
They have many churches in these small towns....these are in Belmont.
Before leaving Belmont, we had lunch at Belmont Cafe. The place was packed with people. They had a buffet today and the line was long since we got there until the time we left. Seems like everyone from the surrounding area goes there to eat.
Back at Red Bay....A nice mural. You may remember this from my posting last year.
Downtown Red Bay....
We are just staying in and watching TV. It is really windy and dusty out!!!! Looks like we may get some rain.
