We left Jacksonville at about 10:30 for our hour and a half drive. The morning is beautiful, sunny and cool after getting some rain last night.
Looks like the logging business is good here....
Oh, Lari would love this water slide!
Don't know who plays at Independence Bowl but it is a nice Baseball Stadium.
Another pretty church pretty church....
A view of the city skyline.
Red River cruise boats...
We arrived at the Diamond Jacks Casino RV park by noon. It is pretty nice here. We had been here in our 5th wheel about 4 years ago. We got set up; just relaxed for a few hours.
Looks like the old John Deere followed us here!!
It's a beautiful 70 degrees out so we sat out to eat some cantaloupe.
I took a walk around the park to take pictures while Manuel piddles around the RV.
Nice looking old train bridge on the Red River. The River looks pretty high.....
Mid-afternoon, visited the casino for a 3 pm lunch.
Somebody is happy!!
Looking out the window, I see Manuel going up to our neighbors who have driven up in an Allegro Bus....
They are coming from Red Bay (they live 10 miles from Red Bay) and he tells Manuel all is good in Red Bay, so we will head out in the morning.
Nope, Not The Kings.... For a moment, thought Richard had played hooky!
It has been a couple of years since we haven't traveled with Patsy and Richard.
Tomorrow, we will move on closer to Red Bay, Alabama....More to come.

3 pm lunch, my eye. I know you guys, remember? At least Manuel is happy with his day. He was just worn out after driving so long.
I am glad that somebody gets to be on the road. I can still remember........
Back to work,
Richard
