We got on the road by 9 am and traveled about 400 miles to Red Bay. Had a good drive but encountered one detour when we got to HWY 23. Supposedly they had a lot of debris there.
Another nice sunny and cool day. Good day for traveling.
I've never seen a sign like this before....Never saw a checkpoint.
Went thru many rivers and through the woods....
leaving Louisiana....entering Mississippi.
They are expecting something to happen on The Mighty Mississippi....it's raging!
We made a stop at the Visitors Center and took some pics....

There is an area in Mississippi that was pretty hard hit....
The spring flowers are in full bloom with all the rain they have had here.

We are so happy that they have finally paved the roads here. Hated the dust....

Our neighbors to the right are in travel trailers but they have their Tiffins being worked on.
Yep, Manuel drove all day and he is out cleaning the coach....does not like to see it dirty!
Had a great day. Will see what tomorrow brings!
