Hobo Stew Event

The hobo stew was great and so were all the side dishes.  After the meal we just sat around and played games.   Some played dominos and others played cards.  We had a great time.

The President, Richard and his wife, who are dressed as Hobos, sort through the gift bags.   This was pretty neat.  Each member brought something they have been trying to get rid of out from their RV as an exchange.  They numbered each bag and then gave each one a number.   It was fun!

After dinner, we sit around and chatted….

Let the games begin…..

Tomorrow, we will have a continental breakfast and then prepare to head home.   We have been gone for two months and are really looking forward to seeing our granddaughters and the rest of the family.  The next Lone Star Allegro Rally will be held in Victoria, TX at the end of March.   We look forward to it.

Breakfast at The Rally

We woke up to a really cool morning.  We head out to the club house where breakfast was served at 9 am.   Our compliments to the cooks.   Great Job!

The servers did a great job with the meal. Thank you for all your hard work.

The President and Secretary bring the meeting to order.  They had a total of 16 rigs show up for this rally.

We, The Esparzas,  and The Kings became official members of the Lone Star Allegro Club, Houston Chapter. I will resign my position as Secretary of The Allegro Amigos, San Antonio Chapter, since that chapter is presidentless, is there such a word?!!  We look forward to meeting with this chapter.

This area is really nice and very picturesque.

Lone Star Rally

The last two days have been very relaxing.   I believe that everyone that is attending this rally is here.  Several couples gathered tonight and went to Outback for dinner then we returned and played cards.

Manuel and I went into Conroe for a drive and found this junky truck along the way.

We drove by this beautiful “Wedding Facility”.   It had a chapel in the back yard.   We passed by in the evening and it was all lite up as if they had a wedding going on.

Rally attendees just hang out and visit…..

Tomorrow, the Wagon Master and President will provide breakfast.   In the evening, they will provide hobo stew.  I will keep  you posted.

Country Place RV Park

We arrived at this beautiful RV Park at about noon.  It is awesome here.  The sky is dark and it looks like it may rain…. Here are some pictures.

As the guys went to pay, I took pictures, then I decided to get off and take more pictures.

We are the first one to arrive for the Allegro Lone Star Rally…..we are invited guests.

This place has about three ponds and a lot of ducks…….so pretty.

 

As we drove in, we spotted more Tiffin Trash parked a few rows over. Maybe we will meet them later.

We are all set up so I began to clean the inside of the rig and Manuel cleans the outside.
