We are in Junction, TX

We traveled today to Junction and will spend the night here.  Below you will see scenery pictures taken from Fort Davis to Junction.   The terrain sure changes…..

I did not find too many things to take pictures of so we just listened to our Tejano Music.   Los Electros accompanied us through much of our 2 month trip.  For those of you who do not know who Los Electros are, they are a band formed by my brother-in-law, Ramiro Garcia of Driscoll, Texas.  My only brother, Jesse Aleman, sings with the group.  Ramiro’s brother, Toby plays the drums and a guy called “Blood” (I don’t know his first name; last name is Fara) also sings and plays a guitar.  They call him Blood because he says he is everyone’s blood brother.  Los Electros have great music and they kept us company when the road got lonely.

These are still the Davis Mountains…..they are beautiful.

Texas land is rich in oil and energy producing windmills which are in the background.

We begin to appreciate the live oak trees.   I wonder how many leaves we have at home from the many many live oak trees we have.   We have a big job ahead of us once we get home……

Junction 046

Love the rivers since we barely saw any in Arizona. Actually, we did not see any!

Junction 052

Nice farm at the foothills of the Hill Country.

We see this nice bridge as we arrive in Junction.

Another bridge in Junction as we go into town. This one is under construction and is a one laner.

Junction 080

As we wait for bridge traffic to pass, we spot these deer in town.   Aren’t they beautiful?!

Junction 081

This is the Llano River.   Nice!
