We left Yuma at about 10 am this morning. We thanked Ed, Lavaughn and Jimmy for their hospitality. We had a great time while there. I took some pictures along the way. We stopped at a road side park for a while.
We follow Mark and Sue through the mountains……
Beautiful mountains along the way…..these have snow on them. It was in the 60’s today, nice and sunny.
The snow and the clouds kind of blend in together.
This was our drive thru Tucson, AZ.
We parked our motorhomes at Camping World, went in and bought a table and other stuff.
We unhooked Mark’s vehicle at Camping World and then drove to Trader Joe’s for some grocery supplies.
While we wait for Sue, I take a picture of the guys.
We had made plans to stop in Benson, AZ for the night. After I checked out the GPS, Mark says “Take the lead”, so we pass them up.
We stopped at about 5 pm at this Gas City. This is a very nice place and good place to park.
They have all these wagons surrounding the parking area so I walked around taking these pictures.
This looked like something for an old train….
This is a pretty covered wagon.
This is a horse drawn two seater.
This is a horse drawn, yellow, one seater.
This is a horse drawn three seater. The back seats face each other.
I think this is something like a pick up style where they could carry stuff in the back…
We are parked here for the night. We plan on leaving early and Maybe make it to Texas. We will see…..
After playing a game of cards (Golf) we call it a night. Good night!
