We left Gila Bend this morning around 11 a.m. and headed to Casa Grande, AZ which was about 70 miles away. I took some pictures along the way.
There is a big jersey farm as we drove into town.
We arrive at the Pinal County Fairgrounds the guys found the best place to park and we are Happy Campers!
The RV Rally starts on Monday so we are early birds….
The guys had volunteered to help park the RVs as they come in for the Rally which starts on Monday. They help park the first RV….Good Job, Guys! As they help park, we take a walk around the fair grounds which is having the Gourd Festival.
This is a nicely fixed up bus….Cruisin Classic.
They have hula performers that represent each of the Hawaiian Islands. The performers are of all ages.
Beautiful girls and they are really good dancers….
The little girl on the right has lop-sided coconuts but she is so cute!
After the last dance, they came into the audience and selected a partner to go dance…..
We volunteered Sue to go out there. She did a really good job! She learned to Hula in no time!

They had really pretty umbrellas….very colorful!
This was cute. A gourd is in front of the bicycle/wagon and the gourds legs move as if it were running.

We entered the Arts & Crafts Center and this is what we found….Gourds of all kinds and shapes. So neat. Beautiful artwork.

We return to check on the guys….they are relaxing and watching TV. Tomorrow we will return to the Arts & Crafts Show….to see what we will buy. We are parked right next to the A & C building which makes it nice.
Manuel and I get to meet Nick, who organized this rally. He has the Gypsy Journal.
We had dinner at Mimi’s Cafe.
We had a nice dinner. We enjoyed the company.
