Leave Casa Grande, Arrive in Yuma

We left Casa Grande at about 10 am and headed to Yuma, AZ.  I took pictures of these old converted buses and trailer which look really neat.   This one is a Genesis but don’t know much about it.

This is the back end of it.   It looks like a yacht or boat.

I posted this one earlier in the week.   Also neat looking.

The following are just road pictures.   Nice scenery and beautiful weather.  It was about 35 degrees this morning and has gotten warm as the day goes by.

This is a nice shot of Mark and Sue’s rig.   Beautiful mountains, too.

Looks like they are making wheelies as they move along this mountain….sorry for the glare..

too much glare again but nice scenery…

We arrive in Yuma where Mark and Sue’s friends await.  They live in a community where they have a nice home and along side of it, they have full RV hookups for 2 RVs.   How perfect is that?  The whole community has the same kind of set up.   Everyone in this area is an RVer and they travel several months out of the year. This is their winter home and they live in Santa Rosa, CA in the summer.

We are lined up right next to their carport.

This is Ed & Lavaughn Petitt’s home where we are parked for the next few days.  They are very nice.  They had plans to meet some friends for a birthday and they insisted we come along.

This is Lavaughn and Ed, whom Mark and Sue met at Adventureland in Iowa last summer.

This is the Birthday Boy, Steve Gutierrez and his wife, Olga.   Olga says she was born and raised in San Antonio.  She has not been back to San Antonio since 1968 but plan to come down there sometime.

This was a group of about 26 and we had a very nice time.   They invited us to go play cards afterwards.

These pictures are taken from the front yard of Ed and LaVaughn’s home.   It is a breathtaking sight.
