We had not had internet for a few days, but you can bet that when we stop at Wal-Mart, I always have internet so here we go. I am posting a few days worth! Enjoy!
We started our 140 mile drive this morning and arrived by 11 am at Burt Lake State Park in Indian River, Michigan. We had a very nice & colorful drive. We got all set up, had a quick sandwich lunch and headed out to see the sights. First, I will share some pictures of this beautiful park and our drive here. We had a cool front move in last night so it was windy, rainy and sunny at times.
The further north we drive, the more beautiful the color of the trees become.
This is our view out the front of our coach. Just beautiful! I love being close to the water.
I finally catch a black squirrel which we have seen during our time in Michigan.
We have nice pull thru sights. We kept the SUV hooked up as Janet and George will drive today.
We are off to check out the sights....
Love the colorful trees in this backyard.
This tree carving is beautiful. Since it is cloudy, it did not come out very clear.
Small town, nice town....Indian River.
Burt Lake....
Travel about 20 miles to the resort town of Petoskey. Another nice scenic drive...
I will post more pictures of all we did today. When we got back to the park,
I took a good walk by the water and took more pictures. Enjoy!
They have a nice beach area....
Back to the Coach....
More to come....The Cross in The Woods and Petoskey...
