This week went by pretty fast here. We stayed pretty busy. On Monday, we went into Bay 39 since the part ordered for the air tank arrived. They installed it. While we waited, we visited at the Guest Lounge. We played a couple of games of cards.....
Mark then works on a puzzle.....
That evening, Lorraine and Chuck invited us for beef stew. It tasted really good and since it was pretty cold out, we all really enjoyed the stew and sides....
Lorraine, Mark, Manuel and George enjoy their time together.
Bob Srutka....
JoAnn Srutka....
Bob, Sue and Nancy eat and enjoy the conversation.
After dinner, we played cards....we made two groups since we were too many.
I set the timer and took a picture with my friends.
Manuel and Missy.....She is so cute laying her head on his leg.
Another day at the Bay....The sign above says "When Curtains are pulled KEEP OUT! I guess Manuel and Mark don't know how to read!!!! I caught them coming out of there.
Since I am lost on days, this evening, Wednesday, I think, we had movie night at the Didelot's. Lorraine bought two new movies and we got together to watch "2012".
We all enjoy the movie.
Is Sue falling asleep? Lorraine is bright eyed...
Very very serious!
On Thursday, we drove about 45 miles to Simmons Tires in Sheffield, AL. for a wheel alignment. There was a lot of ice since it was in the 20's. The roads were okay. We had to be at Simmons at 7:45 so we left the Allegro Campground at about 6:30......we overslept but we made it there 15 minutes early. It is cold out.
More of the icy fields.....
It took them about 8 hours to get all they had to do at Simmons. We did not take our tow so we had a long wait.
Mike Simmons offered us his truck to go tour the sights but we only took it to go out to lunch. He is a very nice man. We took his Chevy Silverado for about an hour and a half.
We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Very good lunch there!
A nice mural at the entrance of the restaurant.....I could not capture it all.
On the way back, I asked Manuel to drive a little around the area and I took a couple more pics.
A beautiful Baptist Church.... A beautiful old home....
Back at Simmons, these guys are working really hard. He is now rotating the tires.
We started back to Red Bay at 3 pm. Some pictures along the way....
The Didelots, Norths, Silvas, and Srutkas are waiting for us to go to dinner. We went to Mr. J's Pizza. They had very good pizza. We had a great time together.
Three of the Five Amigos!!! Nancy and George will head South tomorrow morning. Hope we get to see them again.
Today, Friday was a rest day for us. We did not have to go in for work. Some of the other folks did go in for work. I went shopping with JoAnn and Sue. Manuel stayed to install these vents on the Coach.
I got these pictures after I returned. He said Mark helped him put one but then he was call to go into a bay so he had to leave. He continued working.
Then Mark comes back from the paint shop where they are going to fix a boo-boo he got while on their last trip. They will be replacing and painting the bay door and the grey areas.
At about 6 pm, The Srutkas, Esparzas and Norths got together to go to dinner at Reese's Steakhouse and Fish Restaurant. It was good. We called it a night early tonight. We have had another great week with friends.
