Bob & JoAnn invited us to go to Florence today, Saturday, so we got ready and while we waited for them, we took a picture.
We went to Kirklands, Home Depot and Wal-Mart.....
Then we went to eat lunch at Rosie's Cantina. Here are a few more pictures of the place....
The waiter takes our picture....
They have a nice display of antique instruments.....
Making tortillas the modern way....by machine.
They have a really nice bar....
Another mural....with Manuel on the right bottom....
We drove around and since Bob had to stop at another hardware store, I took pictures of this buildings....
And another building mural....
Small shops along this strip...
Then we stopped at Chazz for some wine and liquor....
Sue made Gumbo today so we all gathered at their coach for dinner. Food was good.
I set the timer and rush to be in the picture.
JoAnn and Bob bought this wonderful cake at Katie Kakes. It was delicious!
Mark helps Sue dry dishes....He did not want me to help her so I said, Okay I will take a picture of you!
The ladies played cards and the guys chose to just sit around and talk.....about RVs.
Last night we made plans to meet Sunday morning at 11 to go have lunch at Belmont Cafe. Here are some of the desserts they had.
and the buffet lunch....
There were 6 couples at our table. The Bissons, (not sure I am spelling it right) is the second couple on the right; we met this couple in January at the Lone Star Allegro Rally at Traders Village in Houston. They are here at Tiffin for some work. The other couple on the far left end of the table are from Washington and I don't remember their name. we had a nice lunch.
Back at the Allegro Campground, Manuel heads out on his scooter to check with Chuck about the BBQ pit. Manuel cooked fajitas, sausage and I made rice, beans, guacamole and tortillas. JoAnn brought a cheese dip.
It was a beautiful day out. We sat outside and just visited.
JoAnn leaves and here comes Chuck in the far distance with his BBQ pit.....
Mark and Manuel are really into conversation as Chuck delivers the pit....Bruskies are good, right, Mark?
I wonder what Manuel is thinking about, the guys are waiting!!!
Chuck shows Manuel BBQing procedure since he has not BBQed in years...
They sit around and visit.
The cook hard at work. Bob gave Manuel the Alaska cap he is wearing. Very nice!!
This should be enough for 4 couples...
Everyone enjoyed dinner and we are about to start a game of cards but JoAnn would like to see the Academy Awards so they try to get the right channel.....No success so Bob & JoAnn leave to their coach.
We played a game of cards....Mark won tonight. It was a fun filled day!
