More Of La Place

Next we visited this old cemetery.   Many of these crypts go back to the early 1800s.  Dale's grandma and great grandma are buried here.  Many of his ancestors are buried here at St. Peter Church & Cemetery.

Then we head out to Lake Ponchartrain and maybe lunch.

We thought we would eat here but they are closed.  Nice big restaurant on the Lake's edge.

On the way back to town, he shows us some of the best fishing areas.   He fishes and hunts a lot.

We treated Dale to a late lunch here.  He wanted to cook for us but we did not allow him......it was very very good.

We had invited Mr. & Mrs. Trepagnier to eat with us but they had already had lunch.

It got dark and cool so we called it a night.   We had a very nice day!  Thank you, Dale.
