We left La Place, Louisiana at about 7:30 am this morning but not before taking a picture of The Trepagniers. We had a great visit with these.
This is a beautiful morning, cool and sunny.

Not too much traffic until we got to Baton Rouge....
Then Lake Charles....high high bridge.

A bad accident involving an 18 wheeler and a small car. Hope everyone is safe.
We took 90 W to Hempstead....all the back roads. Enjoyed the ride thru small towns.

At 6 pm, we head out to eat at Julio's Mexican Restaurant.
Back at the RV Park, Mark checks his awning....George holds the ladder, Manuel checks the other side.
Note the sun setting as we head to play cards in the small clubhouse.....Beautiful!
