On Friday morning, we headed to the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. Our drive was about 3 hours. It was a nice drive. Here are some pictures along the way....
Even though we did not stop at Fort Walton Beach, it was my favorite town.
The Azaleas are in full bloom....
We have reached Pensacola....head towards the base.
The Museum is across from where we are staying.
We were lucky to get a spot with full hookups. Since they do not take reservations, the lady had told me that they were full and we would dry camp. When we got here, one space became available for one night. We took it! This is a nice park and it's by the water....
Got all set up and Manuel is cleaning the coach, I am taking pictures of the area.
I asked him to go to the beach with me...... Here we go!
He poses for me.....
We relaxed all afternoon....so peaceful here!
He set the timer.
We head back to the coach, which you can see to the left of the picture.
We made plans to meet up with Bob & JoAnn for dinner. Bob wants a Whataburger. We saw three coming in. We are about 18 miles from each other. More to come....
