We had a very nice drive to Tyndall AFB. Here are some pictures I took along the way. Enjoy!
We followed scenic Hwy 98 all along the Gulf coast to Panama City.
We stopped for lunch at Apalachicola for lunch. This is a nice town....
It is a pretty busy town....along of RVs here.
Many shops and restaurants....where will we eat?!
Friendly people here, too!
This was our choice...it was very good. Some had gumbo; I had chowder.
Back to our scenic drive. A cop is following Bob really close!
More wild flowers...
The wisteria grows wild here.
Cute little chapel along the beach.
Fish beach loungers....
We arrived at the base and Bob & JoAnn will drive another 20 miles to Panama City Beach.
We made plans to meet up with the Srutkas for dinner.
JoAnn's friend who lives in this area recommended Triple "J" Steakhouse. The Srutkas treated us for our anniversary. That was very nice of them. Thank you Bob & JoAnn. The food was great and so was the company.
After dinner we called it a day and headed back to camp. Had another great day!
