Manuel learning how to set the auto timer on the camera.
We got up early and went to the Base cafeteria to eat breakfast before we head out to Idaho.
A bit too early for me.....
As we are serving our food, Manuel meets up with a guy that used to work at Kelly before he retired. He had been trying to call his friend, Mando Lopez, who used to work with him in San Antonio. We figured he must have retired and gone back to San Antonio. Every time we come to Utah, Manuel calls and meets with him.
The guy he saw, went on to the hanger and told Mando that Manuel was looking for him. Manuel meets up with him as Mando is going to look for Manuel at the cafeteria.
They are so happy to see each other. Mando tells Manuel that he had a pad built for a trailer so we may just camp out at his place next time we are in this area.
A view of the Salt Lake
Driving on I 84. Nice drive up toward Boise.
We enter Idaho. I felt sorry for this guy trying to get a ride.
Beautiful farms and ranches on this drive.
We saw several crop dusters along the way....
Hey, another Texan in a Phaeton.
The Snake River....

We drove about 325 miles so we are finally at Mountain Home Air Force Base.
We spotted this beautiful red car.....'59 Edsel

That is a nice looking car. I'm just wondering how Manuel let it pass him?
