Today, Kathleen and I rode the scooters for a while and then we all just sat out and enjoyed the morning. Mid-afternoon, Richard asked us if we wanted to take a ride into Hermiston and maybe go have lunch. We head out cruising in his Spartan II and he wants Manuel to drive it.
Manuel enjoyed the drive and I really enjoyed the ride.....awesome experience!
We arrive at the Longhorn Steakhouse and Lounge and one of the employees came out to meet us. He had all kinds of questions for Richard about the car. Several people just stopped to see the car......
We had a great lunch!

I just can not say enough about these wonderful new friends we have made.
Tomorrow we will head on north. We have had a wonderful 5 days here in Boardman, OR. Richard and Kathleen say they may come to visit us in San Antonio so we really look forward to that.

You're lucky to have a friend who's willing let you drive his car. My friends don't allow me to do so since they think I'll end up wrecking theirs. Hehe! Anyway, Richard got a nice car! The Spartan II attracted so many car lovers due to its unique design and tough motor. I hope he maintains the car very well.
