We had a very short drive (16 mile) from Larrabee State Park to Mount Vernon RV Park. They only had one spot available so we took it for the next three nights. It is a very nice park.
They have some beautiful flowers so I go take pictures.....
We see this Zephyr and thought it may be Mark and Sue!!!!! but they are in Alaska.
They have Texas license plates but an Arizona name plate....
More of the flowers....Beautiful orange and pick roses.
Purple and orange gladiolas.....
Hot pink geraniums.... Don't know what type of tree this is but it is very tall!
This is also a beautiful tree and it has the berries pictured below.....
the berries.....? Different kind of berries......?
This is the tree that has the orange berries. Manuel is always cleaning!
A full timer's front porch garden! So colorful....
We then head out to Bay View State Park to check out the spot we will move into on Monday. This park is on the Padilla Bay....but the water level just be really really low since this boat and floating slide are on dirt. These folks are trying to pull the boat out of there.
This is what used to be the boat ramp...it is flat on the swampy ground now.
Another unhappy fisherman trying to pull out his boat....poor guys.
The floating slide on mud!
We drove around for a little then headed home to rest.
