Sidney is a charming, picturesque town. We walked a couple of blocks into the downtown area from the Ferry Port.
We visited the Visitor Center which had a lot of helpful information. Since this was only a day trip for us, we wanted to get as much in to the day as possible.
Sights along our walk into town.
These are beautiful yards. There was a little old man enjoying his garden and we stopped to talk to him a bit. He was sure enjoying his day and so were we.
We arrived in the downtown area.....
It is 11:45 and we have until 6 pm to return to the ferry.
Again, everything looks so beautiful and color everywhere.
A nice hotel along the sea coast.
There are multiple cafe and restaurants in this downtown district. Most of them have outside dining.
Shops, Shops, Shops!
Another seaside hotel....
They have several piers....along the seaside.
I believe the lamp below used to work like a lighthouse back in the years....
The lighthouse... We decided to have lunch at "Salty's by the Sea Bar & Grill".
This was a very good choice.
The waitress takes our picture....
We continue our walking through downtown.
They have a lot of statues along the way...Grandma reading...
Two young kids with their cat....
The double decker bus takes you into Victoria....
The Garden Court has many shops.... Manuel finds the perfect statue!
What are they looking at??!!! Must be a plane!
I sit with Grandpa with his lovable dog....
This is an art studio....
Then we walk over to Beacon Park where we spent a lot of time. It is so relaxing while it is very nice and cool. It is sunny but only in the high 80s.
The Sidney Pier Bistro...
I have too many pictures so I will post pictures along the wonderful Sea Walk....

Sidney is a charming, picturesque town. - So true! I'll never forget my first trip to Sidney. We had a great accommodation, enjoyed their amenities, and traveled a lot! We also visited some of their best tourist attractions; the Sidney Historical Museum, Butchart Gardens, and many more! I wish I can go back there and take more photos around. :)
