We had an early breakfast at the Base Golf Course and then headed out to Mt. Rainier National Park. It was a 40 mile drive out and a very scenic drive.
The sun is not out yet but it seems like it will clear. We will see....
We follow the Nisqually River for a good while.
Then we come to Alder Dam....very beautiful sights....
We stopped at Alder Lake for a while to take pictures. It is a beautiful area....
Note all the tree stumps....this would be bad for a boat?! The boats are out, though.
We got to Albe where they have train box cars....
These box cars are part of the Hobo Inn. They actually rent these rooms! Pretty neat idea....
The Pizza Station....
This one is a restaurant....we will probably stop on the way back to eat here.
This is a beautiful church...18' x 24'...imagine that!
