Tacoma has so many beautiful places to visit. Everything is just a couple of miles from each other. We are now at Point Defiance Boathouse and Pier...
We decided to have lunch before we walked this area. We ate at Anthony's and it is a great restaurant with very reasonable prices. The location has a perfect setting.
This restaurant overlooks Commencement Bay...on the Puget Sound.
Nice open Kitchen and Bar.
All of their lights were metal fish.....really neat!
Right next door is the Yacht Club....
Another Ferry ...
There are a lot of boats in the area....many are fishing boats. It is really overcast today. The high today is expected to be about 70.....it is cool for us!
This boat is heading to the Yacht Club.
As you can tell, we are wearing seat shirts....it is cool but really nice.
This lady pulls the boat to dock while 3 men sit in the boat....
We notice an elevator taking boats up so I will take pictures while they drive to the elevator...
They are going up on the elevator ramp...there are three flights to top deck.
The elevator takes the boat up one flight.... then on to the second floor....
They are on the third floor now. They put the boat on a dolly to roll it on...
They push it around as they want.....they wash the boats up on the third deck.
Then they roll them in to the Boat House...

The Ferry leaves dock and heads to an Island across the pier.
We are hoping that the weather clears up. It has been very overcast for the last 3-4 days.

one lady pulling the boat and three men in the boat( not in Texas)She should have turn the boat loose and gone inside . I sure would not want to pay for storage there . Need to take up fishing .Have a good one we love you all
