The last few days have been cool and rainy so we have kind of hung around the RV Park and Base. Today's high was about 70 degrees. The sun came out for a while today, so we decided to drive to Enumclaw which is about 25 miles a way. The first pictures are around the park here at McChord AFB. This is a really nice park.

We visited the Mess Hall, or Enlisted Dining Room and they have all these wood carved bears....

Our drive this afternoon was very nice. The clouds are pretty dark...
We made a quick stop at Buckley, the Historic District. This is the Courthouse.
We visited a railroad museum. This looks like a barge made of logs....

We drive 5 more miles to Enumclaw...nice bridge...

We have been trying to get a glimpse of Mt. Rainier again but the clouds have not allowed it.
Enumclaw is a nice small town.

The sky looks mean! It began to rain pretty hard as we headed out of town.

Saturday should be a sunny day so we will take a drive to Mt. Rainier....
It stopped raining for a little while so we made a quick stop at this farm...
We bought more fruit and look at the melon we found!!!
This was a very scenic drive all through this area. We had a very nice time.
We got back to the coach and it just poured....It is predicted to be sunny tomorrow. We will see!

Love the dark clouds...need the rain really bad here...it has been super hot and dry....enjoy it while you can..be careful and have fun!!!

Was looking at pictures of Buckley and saw a picture of our house from BEFORE we moved in which was fun! Thanks for sharing and glad you had a nice visit while in town.
