As we left the park, Manuel noted that a "Road King" was parked by us...
Nice coach....
We drove about six miles from West Memphis, ARK to downtown Memphis, TN.
As we cross the Mighty Mississippi River, a view of Memphis.
The Pyramid Arena, used to be home to the Memphis Grizzles until they got their new home.
This is the Grizzles' new home....The FedEx Forum. (note the balls surrounding the front of the building).
Nice ...
We parked at the Elvis Presley Plaza and walked one block to Beale Street. The street is blocked because they are having Elvis Presley Week here.
Nice Elvis Statue!
We check out the area to see where we will have a late lunch....
Check out this wall being supported by metal supports...
We are waiting to see if we spot an Elvis impersonator but have not....
I think we have spotted out place to have lunch....The Silky O'Sullivans it will be!
Some pictures of the inside of the restaurants...
Jerry Lee Lewis on piano.
They have two old old pianos.
They have a long long bar....
Manuel takes my picture as I am about to take a picture....
Manuel waits for me to take pictures as we exit the restaurant.
After more walking in the area, we head towards River Road for a drive.
The I 50 bridge...
They have beautiful home along the River Road...
Back to Arkansas...
