We began our drive by 9:30 this morning. This Four State Fairground RV Park was nice to spend the night.
Pretty nice drive on I 30....
Nice farm along side the river....
A huge Caterpillar factory....
The Mabelline plant....
This guy is transporting a glittery silver horse....pretty horse!
The skies look dark just ahead of us.....
We only got a small sprinkle as we neared Memphis...
Blytheville....Jaime and Stephanie used to live here. They were just transferred to Puerto Rico!
We arrived at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River RV Park. This is where we first met Sue and Mark Didelot about three years ago. We were here with Richard and Patsy King on our way to attend the FMCA Rally in Little Rock, Arkansas. Greg and Mandy were traveling with the Didelots at that time. We had a nice BBQ here that time.
Not too many campers here today but more are expected tonight.
We got a riverfront spot. Really nice and relaxing here.
Many barges transport products via the Mississippi River.
We have a very nice spot with a great view.
A huge barge coming by....very long. Wonder what it is carrying?
The front of the barge....
The tug boat....
A smaller barge...
A look back from the river's edge.
Several people are out taking pictures of the barges...nice view.
Manuel takes a couple of pictures of me taking pictures of the passing barges.
Thinking of Oscar as we watch the sunrays from the sun set!
Until tomorrow.

I LOVE that park. It really doesn't have much to offer except those wonderful views. But that's what it's all about. See you soon.
