We drove around the area to find a place to have lunch. We came up to the Bird House Cafe and decided to stop.
It is a very small cafe but really cute. The food was great and the owners were very friendly.
I had a ball taking pictures in there.
The menu offered many bird house items.
Many, many birdhouses for such a small cafe....
Their salad was very good.
Four tables was all that would fit in the cafe....

Janet must have known we would find this place....she wore her birdhouse blouse!!
Folded forks are used as the bird stands on this birdhouse.
This man, owner, had lived in Houston for years before moving here "to get away from the humidity", he said.
We all enjoyed lunch here at the Bird House Cafe. Such a neat place!
Next, we drove a little around Asheville. More to come!
