We had not seen a sunrise in several years. Today, we drove Corina to the Airport at about 6:30 am and the sun was raising behind Mt. Hood. What a beautiful sight....breathtaking.
We arrive at the Portland Airport. Very nice airport.
She checks her luggage in and we say our good byes.
We had a wonderful time with Corina....she said she had a very nice time, too.
Our drive back to the RV Park was awesome....
The sun rising over Mt. Hood and Manuel looks the other way and there is a Rainbow after a few showers.
That was truly beautiful.
We hooked up the SUV and headed south towards Idanha which is about 50 miles from Salem.
Fields of fruit trees and other veggies...
This was a very nice and scenic drive.
The North Santiam River runs along our drive. It is so scenic.
We drive thru the Willamette National Forrest.
and Detroit Lake.....what beauty. We never stopped to take pictures; we will drive back once we park.
We arrive, set up and just walk around the park. The River runs through the park so we go for a walk.
Beautiful, clear, and very cold glacier water.
Mt. Jefferson makes it an even more spectacular view....
We had a great day today and now I am all caught up with my blog. Hope you enjoy it!
