Ferndale is a small Victorian Village settled in 1852. Hope you enjoy the architecture of homes, churches, and businesses as much as we did. We really enjoyed touring the town.
Oh, and as we toured the town, we found a yorkie puppy roaming the streets. We decided to pick it up and I knocked on several doors but the people there said it did not belong to them. We then took it to the Police Station, where we could find no one. Then we went to the Fire Station, which was all open but we could find no one there either. We talked to a lady who was coming out of work from the local bank and explained the situation to her and she said she would take it. Her kids loved the puppy....he looked like Quincy, Corina's Yorkie. He had a tag and phone number, which we called but no one answered. She said she would continue to call them...hope he finds his home....He was really cute!
Anyway, here are some pictures of buildings in town...
The bank where the lady worked.
To give you an idea of the value of homes here.
A hotel and Restaurant.
Another hotel...The Victorian Inn & Restaurant. We decided to have a late lunch here.
