Drive to North Bend, OR

Saturday, we headed south to check out North Bend.  Bob and JoAnn drove north to see the scenic area we had passed up.   We had already seen that area so we planned to meet later that evening for dinner.   We had a 50 mile drive and enjoyed the scenery.   I did not feel real well so I did not take too many pictures.   We got back to the Coach and I went to sleep.   My stomach had been upset all day and finally threw everything up and after a couple of hours of rest, felt better. 

There are many bikers out with back packs.  I think they are going camping since there are so many parks in all of this area.   They have beautiful parks and lakes, beaches and rivers.   This guy is taking his puppy!

Today, Sunday, we made plans with Bob and JoAnn to visit the Florence Historic District, have lunch at the Bliss Hot Rod Grill, then drive about 50 miles to North Bend and spend the night at The Mill Casino.  This will be our last evening together as we will head toward California and they will visit a niece in Grants Pass.

We had been seen these antique cars all weekend.   As we arrived in the downtown area, they were all displayed here.  

There are all beautiful cars and the owners proudly display them.

This one is in the raw....sure it will look as nice as the others soon.

We went on to Bliss' Hot Rod Grill for lunch.   Food is great there!

We have really enjoyed out time with Bob and JoAnn Srutka.  We will be seeing them back in Texas after tomorrow.     We head out South to North Bend, OR.

 

We stopped at Jessie Honeyman State Park to dump our sewer and fill our water tanks....

Back on the road again.....There are so many RVers on this Hwy 101....

    We stopped to refuel the diesel and propane so JoAnn takes Precious on her break.

 

Back on the road again....There are also a lot of bikers on Hwy 101.  My brother would love to ride this road!

We have arrived at North Bend.  

We had dinner in our Coach his evening and played some cards.  JoAnn and Bob brought a bottle of Liqueur.  We had a very nice day.   More to come from Northern California.   We will stay on Hwy 101.
