Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose

Today we drove to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, home to Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose.  This is in Minnville.  What an amazing

This is an amazing airplane....It is constructed of wood.   It is a huge airplane.   This is a model and I could never get the whole airplane in one frame on my camera.....

so....I just took pictures of this amazing plane at the gift shop....

This bomber plane was interesting because it served in the Naval Reserve in Kingsville, TX.  This is close to our hometown of Driscoll, TX.  Interesting.

There were many aircraft but I did not take as many pictures this time....

Then there was the Spruce Goose Vineyards.....

Looks like these grapes are ripe....

Beautiful countryside, huh?!

I took a few pictures of the IMAX movie we watched.   It was awesome ocean sights.

We then drove by Devils Lake in Lincoln  City.  It is a beautiful day out and the sights are beautiful.

Tomorrow we will take a 25 mile drive to Newport....more pictures to come!
