We started our day early by attending services at the Base Chapel. It was a very nice service.
We then headed to San Francisco. We are ready to cross the Bay Bridges.
These are beautiful bridges that are side by side.
A nice view of the bay.
The marina.
Close up of the Bay Bridge.
The toll gates....so much traffic.
Then the tunnel...
Then this bridge....
A view of San Francisco from the Bay Bridge.
Some nice looking buildings as we exit the bridge...
We visit the Information Center on Market Street...beautiful flowers along the way.
We drive towards the Fisherman's Wharf area.
We arrived at the Ferry Building right by Pier 1. This is a very beautiful building so we walked inside the building to check things out.
They have the Market Place and Ferries....a lot of stores so we took our time looking.
On the backside of the building is the San Francisco Bay. A view of the Bay Bridge from here.
We walked up to the Ferry Landing area to take pictures ....here's looking at the boardwalk.
The Ferry Docks....
A view of the City....
We decided to have lunch at Mijita (means my daughter) Cocina Mexicana.... The food was good.
There are many sailboats in the bay....so beautiful.
The day is great.....nice and sunny. It is a perfect day.
Then we decide to unload our scooters to drive down the Piers. This Pier area is a couple of miles long. We also got very good parking right in front of Pier 1. This was perfect.
We are ready to go.....
More pictures to come since I have so many.....until then. Enjoy!
