Yesterday, Monday, we drove about 200 miles from North Bend, OR to Trinidad, CA. It was a very scenic drive but it was rainy....that made me very nervous in the mountains with the sharp curves on a two way hwy 101.
We had breakfast with Bob and JoAnn Srutka and then said our goodbyes. It was nice spending time with them.

This is just so beautiful! It has started to clear now. Hope we get no more rain.
The leaves are beginning to change color.
We arrived at the Casino where we will spend the night. This was a very steep mountain we climbed up here. The casino is way below. We have a beautiful view of the ocean from up here, though.

This morning we drove down the mountain to eat breakfast. We moved to Arcata, CA which is only a few miles down the road.
We then walked to the ocean to view the lighthouse. This is a beautiful place to walk....

This is a beautiful little town to visit. We will park the Coach at Mad River Rapids RV Park in Arcata, CA.
